LIMITED 30-DAY TREATMENT GUARANTEE

 

At Bye-Bye Pesky Lice, we stand behind the quality and thoroughness of our professional lice removal services. If the individual who received a complete, paid treatment from Bye-Bye Pesky Lice is confirmed by our team to have active head lice or viable nits within 30 calendar days following the initial treatment, that individual may qualify for one complimentary re-treatment, subject to the terms and conditions below.

 

The complimentary re-treatment covers the treatment service only. A new Home Visit Fee, at the rate applicable to the location and appointment requested, is required. Any other applicable charges—including additional screenings, travel, tolls, parking, after-hours service, products, or other requested services—are not included in the guarantee.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the Limited 30-Day Treatment Guarantee, all of the following conditions must be met:

1. Complete household screening

At the time of the initial appointment, all household members, residents, and other individuals with regular close contact or possible exposure—including babysitters, nannies, caregivers, or regular overnight guests—must be professionally screened for lice.

Any individual found positive must receive a complete treatment from Bye-Bye Pesky Lice. Refusing or failing to screen or treat an exposed individual will void the guarantee.

2. Required aftercare

The customer must follow all written and verbal aftercare instructions provided by Bye-Bye Pesky Lice, including using the recommended Bye-Bye Pesky Lice shampoo and conditioner according to the prescribed schedule.

Failure to complete the required aftercare routine, improper use of the products, or use of unapproved lice-treatment products may void the guarantee.

 

3.Notification of close contacts

The customer is responsible for notifying anyone who had close head-to-head contact with the affected individual during the two weeks before treatment. This may include relatives, friends, babysitters, schools, camps, childcare providers, or other caregivers.

Individuals with continued close contact should be screened and treated when necessary to reduce the risk of reinfestation.

4. Prompt notification

Bye-Bye Pesky Lice must be notified as soon as possible after suspected lice or nits are found and no later than the 30th calendar day following the initial treatment.

 

The customer must contact us before applying another lice treatment, using another lice-removal service, or attempting extensive removal at home, as doing so may prevent us from properly evaluating the claim.

5. Professional verification

Eligibility for a complimentary re-treatment requires confirmation by a Bye-Bye Pesky Lice professional. If possible, any suspected lice or nits should be preserved in a clear, sealed zip-lock bag using transparent tape. Clear photographs or videos may also be requested before scheduling.

The presence of hair debris, dandruff, product residue, empty egg casings, or nonviable nits does not necessarily indicate an active infestation. Final determination of an active case or viable nits will be made by Bye-Bye Pesky Lice after professional evaluation.

GUARANTEE LIMITATIONS

• This guarantee applies only to the individual who received and paid for the original complete treatment.

• The guarantee is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be transferred to another family member, household member, customer, or individual.

• The guarantee does not apply to screening-only appointments, preventive services, products purchased separately, self-treatment, or treatment performed by another provider.

• The guarantee provides a maximum of one complimentary re-treatment per originally treated individual.

• A complimentary re-treatment does not restart or extend the original 30-day guarantee period.

• The guarantee covers the treatment service only and does not include the Home Visit Fee or any other applicable charges.

• The guarantee has no cash value and does not entitle the customer to a refund, credit, reimbursement, or compensation for the original service.

• Appointments requested under the guarantee are subject to technician availability and the customer’s location.

• Missed appointments, late cancellations, or failure to prepare the hair according to our instructions may result in additional fees and may void the scheduled complimentary re-treatment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Head lice can be contracted again at any time through a new exposure. Because Bye-Bye Pesky Lice cannot control contact with schools, camps, childcare environments, relatives, friends, caregivers, or untreated individuals after the appointment, this guarantee is a limited service guarantee and not a promise that future exposure or reinfestation cannot occur.

Bye-Bye Pesky Lice reserves the right to determine eligibility after reviewing the customer’s service history, compliance with aftercare requirements, household screening records, and the results of our professional evaluation.

By accepting treatment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Limited 30-Day Treatment Guarantee.
